Ganna Juice, also known as sugarcane juice, is a popular Indian beverage cherished for its natural sweetness and refreshing qualities. For the Juice:

  • 4–5 fresh sugarcane stalks (peeled and cut into small pieces)
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1 small lemon (optional)
  • A few fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Ice cubes (for serving)

Prepare the Ingredients:

Peel the outer hard skin of the sugarcane using a knife or cutter.

Cut the sugarcane into small pieces, suitable for your juicer or crusher.

Wash the ginger and mint leaves thoroughly.

Extract the Juice:

Feed the sugarcane pieces into a sugarcane juicer (or use a strong blender if you don’t have one).

Add ginger and mint leaves along with the sugarcane if using for added flavor.

Collect the juice in a bowl or jug. If using a blender, strain the juice through a fine sieve or muslin cloth to remove pulp.

Flavor and Serve:

Squeeze fresh lemon juice into the extracted sugarcane juice.
