Spicy Mango Salad Ingredients :
- 2 large firm-ripe mangoes
- 2 Persian cucumbers
- 1 medium red onion
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped roasted peanuts (optional)
- 2 to 3 tablespoons Alfoos mango white balsamic vinegar
- 1 to 2 tablespoons green chili olive oil
- Salt, to taste
How to Make Spicy Mango Salad Recipe:
Peel and cut the mango into sticks measuring 2 inches long and 1/4 inch thick. Peel and cut the cucumbers into sticks of the same dimensions. Thinly slice the onion.
In a medium bowl, combine the chopped mangoes, cucumbers, and onion. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of mango white balsamic vinegar and 1 to 2 tablespoons of green chili olive oil. Mix thoroughly. Garnish with cilantro and chopped peanuts. Serve immediately or chill before serving.
Recipe Notes:
Balance spice by starting with a small amount of hot sauce or Sambal Oelek—then taste and gradually add more to suit your heat preference.
Prevent soggy texture by draining excess liquid from mango and onion before mixing, and toss gently to maintain crispness.
For store fresh, refrigerate in a sealed container and consume within 1–2 days; the mango keeps well but the onions may soften over time.
Enhance flavor depth by letting the salad chill for 15–30 minutes—this allows the dressing to meld with the ingredients without dulling the texture.
