Mustard Stuffed Chicken Recipe – French Special

Mustard Stuffed Chicken Ingredients:

  • 125g ball of mozzarella, torn into small pieces
  • 50g grated strong cheddar
  • 1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast fillets
  • 8 rashers of smoked streaky bacon

How To Make Mustard Stuffed Chicken

Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan, gas mark 6). Combine the cheeses and mustard. Make a slit in the side of each chicken breast and fill with the mustard mixture. Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with 2 bacon rashers, ensuring they’re snug but not overly tight. Season the chicken, place on a baking sheet, and roast for 20-25 minutes.

Recipe Note :

To reduce the amount of bacon used, elongate four rashers by gently stretching them with the back of a knife to make each one longer and thinner. Wrap each chicken breast with one stretched-out rasher as previously instructed.
