Sfiha Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 250 g ground beef or lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Sfiha Instructions:
In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
Add warm water and olive oil, then knead into a soft dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
In another bowl, mix ground meat, onion, tomato, parsley, and tomato paste.
Add paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper, then mix well.
Divide the dough into small balls and flatten into rounds.
Place a spoonful of the meat mixture on each dough round.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Arrange the pastries on a baking tray.
Bake for about 15–20 minutes until the dough is cooked and lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and serve warm.

Finely chop the vegetables for an even topping.

Serve with lemon wedges or yogurt sauce.
