Baked Rice Recipe – Europe Special

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Rice (Washed)
  • 2 Cups Vegetable Or Chicken Broth
  • 1 Small Onion (Chopped)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1/2 Cup Mixed Vegetables (Carrots, Peas, Beans)
  • 1/2 Cup Tomato (Chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup Cheese (Optional, Grated)
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Mixed Herbs (Oregano, Thyme)
  • Salt To Taste

Instructions:

Preheat Oven To 180°C (350°F).

Heat Olive Oil In A Pan And Sauté Onion Until Soft.

Add Garlic And Cook For A Minute.

Add Vegetables And Cook For 2–3 Minutes.

Stir In Rice And Mix Well.

Add Chopped Tomatoes, Herbs, Salt, And Pepper.

Transfer Mixture To A Baking Dish.

Pour In Broth And Mix Gently.

Cover With Foil And Bake For 25–30 Minutes.

Remove Foil, Sprinkle Cheese (Optional), And Bake For Another 5–10 Minutes Until Golden.

Let It Rest For A Few Minutes Before Serving.
