Russian Mushroom Julienne Ingredients :
- 24 oz baby bella mushrooms
- 2 shallots
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- Salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
How To Make Russian Mushroom Julienne
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Thinly slice the mushrooms and shallots.
Heat a medium cooking pan over medium heat and add the oil. Season the mushrooms and shallots with salt and pepper. Sauté them until just cooked, then drain off any excess mushroom juices.
In a bowl, combine sour cream, heavy whipping cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well (adjust salt to taste, considering the salted mushrooms).
Add the creamy mixture to the sautéed mushrooms, stir thoroughly, and heat through.
Transfer the mushroom mixture into a baking dish and evenly spread shredded cheese over the top. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
