Recipe Notes
Broccoli prep: For best texture, cut florets into similar sizes and optionally blanch briefly to retain bright color.
Garlic flavor: Use fresh garlic, minced finely; add it after the broccoli softens slightly to avoid burning.
Sauce variations: Swap light soy sauce with tamari or add oyster sauce for a richer umami kick; adjust saltiness accordingly.
Oil choice: Use neutral oil with a high smoke point like vegetable or peanut oil; finish with a few drops of sesame oil for aroma.
Serving ideas: Serve with steamed rice, noodles, or pair with tofu or chicken to make it a full meal.
Storage: Let it cool, then store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; reheat gently to preserve texture.
