Beef Chow Fun Ingredients:

  • 300 g wide rice noodles
  • 250 g beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Beef Chow Fun Instructions:

Soak or prepare rice noodles according to package instructions.

Heat oil in a wok or large pan over high heat.

Add garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.

Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until mostly cooked.

Add the rice noodles to the wok.

Pour in soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar.

Toss everything together until noodles are coated.

Add bean sprouts and green onions.

Stir-fry for another minute until well combined.

Season with black pepper and serve hot.

Prepare ingredients: Slice beef thinly and marinate with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and a little sugar. Prepare wide rice noodles, bean sprouts, spring onions, and sliced onion.

Cook the beef: Heat a wok over high heat, add oil, and stir-fry the marinated beef quickly until browned. Remove and set aside.

Stir-fry noodles: Add more oil to the wok and stir-fry the rice noodles gently until heated through. Avoid over-stirring so the noodles do not break.

Combine: Add the beef, bean sprouts, onion, and spring onions. Season with light and dark soy sauce and toss over high heat.
