Dumplings with Soy Dipping Sauce Ingredients:
- 250 g minced pork, chicken, or vegetables
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage or bok choy
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 20–25 dumpling wrappers
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes or fresh chili (optional)
Dumplings with Soy Dipping Sauce Instructions:
In a bowl, mix minced meat or vegetables with cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
Place a dumpling wrapper on a clean surface and spoon 1 tsp of filling in the center.
Fold and seal edges using water to moisten if needed.
Repeat until all dumplings are filled.
To steam: Place dumplings in a steamer and cook for 8–10 minutes until cooked through.
To pan-fry: Heat oil in a pan, place dumplings, fry until bottoms are golden, then add 1/4 cup water, cover, and steam for 5–7 minutes.
Prepare dipping sauce by combining all ingredients in a small bowl.
Serve dumplings hot with soy dipping sauce.
