Edamame Recipe – Asian Special
Edamame are young, tender soybeans that are typically harvested before they fully ripen. They are popular in Asian cuisine and make for a nutritious and delicious snack or side dish.

Edamame Ingredients:
- Edamame: 1 pound (about 450 grams), fresh or frozen in shells
- Water: 4 cups
- Salt: 1 tablespoon, for boiling
- Sea Salt: for seasoning (optional)
- Sesame Oil: for drizzling (optional)
How to make Edamame:
Boil Edamame: Bring water and salt to a boil in a large pot. Add edamame and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender.
Drain and Season: Drain edamame and sprinkle with sea salt if desired. Toss to coat evenly.
Serve: Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with sesame oil for extra flavor (optional). Serve warm or at room temperature.
