Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Ingredients:
- 500 g boneless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 2 tbsp mirin or rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thick glaze)
- Sesame seeds and spring onions for garnish
Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Instructions:
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Remove chicken from marinade and place on grill.
Grill for 6–7 minutes per side until cooked through.
Simmer leftover marinade to thicken slightly (optional).
Brush thickened sauce over chicken while grilling.
Remove from grill and rest for a few minutes.
