Ground Turkey Lettuce Wraps Ingredients:

  • 500g (1 lb) ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup finely chopped mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 small carrot, shredded
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sriracha or chili garlic sauce (optional)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1–2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Butter lettuce or romaine leaves, washed and patted dry
  • Chopped peanuts or sesame seeds (for garnish)

Sauté the Base:

In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger, and onion. Sauté until fragrant.

Cook the Turkey:

Add ground turkey. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked.

Add the Veggies:

Stir in mushrooms and carrots. Cook for another 3–4 minutes until softened.
