- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Filling:
- 1 cup ground walnuts
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 2 tbsp milk
For Topping:
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Prepare the Dough:
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
Add butter and mix until crumbly.
Stir in sour cream, egg, and vanilla, then knead into a soft dough.
Wrap and chill for 1 hour.
Make the Filling:
Mix ground walnuts, sugar, honey, cinnamon, and milk in a bowl.
Assemble the Cookies:
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into small squares or circles.
Place a small amount of filling in the center and roll up like mini logs.
Brush with beaten egg.
