  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2-3 cups guacamole (homemade or storebought)
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican-style or cheddar cheese
  • 4 Roma tomatoes, diced (about 2 cups)
  • ½ to 1 cup sliced black olives (2-4 oz), adjust to taste
  • ½ bunch green onions (about ¼ cup), finely chopped
  • ½ small bunch cilantro (about ¼ cup), finely chopped

How to Make 7-Layer Dip Recipe:

1

Warm the refried beans in a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl until softened and easier to spread. Stir in half of the taco seasoning. Spread this mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 glass casserole dish.

2

Layer the guacamole on top of the beans.

3

In a separate small bowl, combine the sour cream with the remaining taco seasoning. Spread this mixture over the guacamole.

4

Sprinkle evenly with cheese, followed by tomatoes, black olives, green onions, and cilantro. Serve alongside tortilla chips for dipping.
