Spiced Gingerbread Cookies Ingredients :
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses or honey
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Spiced Gingerbread Cookies Instructions:
Whisk flour, baking soda, spices, and salt in a bowl.
Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add molasses, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
Gradually mix in dry ingredients to form dough.
Cover and chill dough for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Roll dough and cut into shapes or scoop rounds.
Place cookies on lined baking tray.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set.
