- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Florentine-Style Grilled T-Bone Steak Instructions:
Bring the steak to room temperature before grilling.
Preheat grill or charcoal to very high heat.
Pat the steak completely dry with paper towels.
Place steak on the grill and cook without moving.
Grill one side until a deep char forms.
Flip and grill the other side until equally charred.
Stand the steak on its edge briefly to render fat.
