Saag Paneer Ingredients:
- 250 g paneer, cubed
- 2 cups spinach (blanched and pureed)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp oil or butter
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 cup cream
- Salt to taste
Saag Paneer Instructions:
Blanch spinach, cool, and blend into a smooth puree.
Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add onion and sauté until soft.
Stir in garlic and ginger and cook briefly.
Add turmeric, chili powder, and garam masala.
Pour in spinach puree and mix well.
Add paneer cubes and cook for a few minutes.
Stir in cream and salt.
Simmer briefly and serve hot.
Serve with naan or rice.
