Tartiflette Recipe – French Special

Tartiflette is a classic French alpine dish known for its rich, creamy texture and comforting flavors. Originating from the Savoie region, this traditional recipe features sliced potatoes layered with reblochon cheese, bacon (lardons), onions, and cream, then baked until golden and bubbling. The melted cheese creates a luscious, indulgent sauce that coats every bite.

A staple in French mountain cuisine, Tartiflette is often enjoyed during colder months as a hearty main course. It is typically served with a fresh green salad or pickles to balance its richness. The combination of tender potatoes, smoky bacon, and creamy cheese makes it a favorite for gatherings and cozy meals. This authentic Tartiflette recipe is perfect for those who love rich, cheesy baked dishes with a true taste of French comfort food.
