Birria Tacos Ingredients:

  • 1 kg beef chuck or goat meat
  • 3 dried guajillo chilies
  • 2 dried ancho chilies
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Corn tortillas
  • Shredded mozzarella or Oaxaca cheese
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Chopped onion
  • Lime wedges
