Grape Salad Ingredients :
- 4 cups seedless grapes (red, green, or a mix)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream for a creamier texture)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for crunch)
How to make Grape Salad :
Prepare the Grapes:Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes. Cut them in half (or leave them whole if you prefer) and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Make the Dressing:In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
Mix the Salad:Gently fold the cream cheese mixture into the grapes, making sure all the grapes are evenly coated with the creamy dressing.
Top with Toppings:Transfer the grape salad to a serving dish. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top, followed by the chopped nuts (if using). You can also drizzle a little extra honey if you’d like a touch more sweetness.
Chill and Serve:Refrigerate the grape salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Recipe Notes :
Works beautifully as a make-ahead salad—prepare it the night before and let it chill in the fridge; the creamy flavors meld beautifully.
A cool, creamy treat that’s perfect for hot days—serve chilled straight from the refrigerator for maximum refreshment.
For extra texture, try a crunchy topping option like chopped pecans, walnuts, or a sprinkle of granola—it adds delightful contrast to the creamy base.
