Grape Salad Ingredients :
- 4 cups seedless grapes (red, green, or a mix)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream for a creamier texture)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for crunch)
How to make Grape Salad :
Prepare the Grapes:Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes. Cut them in half (or leave them whole if you prefer) and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Make the Dressing:In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
Mix the Salad:Gently fold the cream cheese mixture into the grapes, making sure all the grapes are evenly coated with the creamy dressing.
Top with Toppings:Transfer the grape salad to a serving dish. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top, followed by the chopped nuts (if using). You can also drizzle a little extra honey if you’d like a touch more sweetness.
Chill and Serve:Refrigerate the grape salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Recipe Notes :
Grape Variety:You can use any combination of seedless grapes, whether red, green, or black. A mix of colors looks especially pretty, but feel free to use your favorite type of grape.
Make-Ahead:This salad is perfect for make-ahead! Prepare it the night before and refrigerate it, so it’s ready when you need it. The flavors will meld and become even more delicious as it sits.
Storage:Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. It’s best served fresh, but it will keep well for a short time.
Serving Ideas:Grape Salad can be served as a refreshing side dish or dessert at barbecues, potlucks, holiday meals, or brunches. It pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, fresh salads, or other summer dishes.
