Greek Salmon with Lemon and Dill Ingredients :

  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 fresh salmon fillets
  • ½ teaspoon salt

How To Make Greek Salmon with Lemon and Dill

1

Combine extra virgin olive oil, black pepper, chopped fresh dill, and fresh oregano in a non-metallic bowl. Mix well, then add the lemon zest and juice.

2

Place the salmon fillets in the marinade, turning them to coat evenly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 3 hours.

3

Once marinated, heat a heavy-bottomed frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat until hot.

4

Season the salmon fillets with salt, then place them presentation side down in the hot pan.

5

Cook undisturbed for 3 minutes. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3 minutes.

Recipe Notes:

You can substitute dried herbs for the fresh ones; simply use 2 teaspoons of each dried herb instead.

We recommend using skinless salmon fillets for this dish because the marinade prevents the skin from crisping up, and soggy fish skin isn’t appetizing!
