Murgh Tikka Recipe – Pakistan Special

Murgh Tikka is a flavorful and aromatic grilled chicken dish that is widely loved across Pakistan. Known for its smoky taste and rich spices, this dish features tender chicken pieces marinated in yogurt, lemon juice, and a blend of traditional spices. It is typically cooked in a tandoor (clay oven), but can also be prepared on a grill, stovetop, or oven at home.
What makes Murgh Tikka truly special is its bold and spicy flavor combined with a juicy, tender texture. The marinade infuses the chicken with deep flavors, while grilling gives it a slightly charred, smoky finish. Often served with mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges, Murgh Tikka is a popular appetizer, street food, and main course that perfectly represents the rich culinary heritage of Pakistani cuisine.
