Peking Shredded Pork Ingredients:
- 300g pork, thinly shredded
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Spring onions for garnish
Peking Shredded Pork Instructions:
Heat oil in a wok or pan over medium-high heat.
Add shredded pork and stir-fry until lightly browned.
Remove pork and set aside.
In the same pan, add garlic and ginger and sauté until fragrant.
Add sliced onion and bell peppers and stir-fry briefly.
Return the pork to the pan and mix well.
Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, vinegar, and sugar.
Stir everything together until evenly coated.
Mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the pan.
Cook until the sauce thickens and coats the pork.
