How to make Pork & Pineapple Skewers :
Marinate Pork: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Add the pork cubes and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare Skewers: Thread the marinated pork, pineapple, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating ingredients.
Grill: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until pork is cooked through.
Serve: Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Recipe Notes :
Marinating Tip: Longer marination (overnight if possible) deepens flavor and helps tenderize the pork.
Vegetable Variations: Add zucchini, mushrooms, or cherry tomatoes for extra color and variety.
Cooking Alternative: If you don’t have a grill, bake or broil the skewers in the oven on a high rack.
Skewer Safety: Use metal skewers or soak wooden skewers to prevent burning.
Resting Time: Let the skewers rest for a few minutes after grilling so juices redistribute before serving.
