How to Beef and Broccoli Sauce Recipe :

1

Preparation: Begin by cooking white rice to ensure it’s ready when the stir fry is finished. For easier slicing, cover and freeze the steak for 30 minutes.

2

Stir Fry Sauce: Combine all ingredients for the stir fry sauce in a bowl, stirring well until the sugar is fully dissolved. Set aside.

3

Cooking Broccoli: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and sauté them for 4-5 minutes, partially covered with a lid. Stir or toss the broccoli several times until it becomes bright green and tender-crisp. Remove the broccoli from the pan. Tip: For softer broccoli, add 2 tablespoons of water before covering with the lid to steam cook the broccoli.

4

Cooking Beef: Increase the heat to high and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet. Arrange the beef in a single layer and sauté for 2 minutes on each side, or until just cooked through. Test a piece to ensure it’s done to your liking.

5

Combining and Serving: Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet with the beef, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens. Add the sautéed broccoli back into the skillet and stir to combine. If desired, stir in 1-2 tablespoons of water to thin the sauce. Serve the stir fry over white rice.
