- 1.5–2 kg (3–4 lbs) lamb shoulder or leg, bone-in
- 4–5 garlic cloves, sliced
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4–5 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered (optional)

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
