Beyti Kebab Recipe – Turkey Special

Beyti Kebab is a famous and indulgent Turkish dish known for its beautifully wrapped grilled meat, soft flatbread layers, and generous topping of yogurt and tomato sauce. Named after Beyti Güler, a Turkish restaurateur who popularized the dish, this kebab has become a beloved classic in Turkish cuisine. It features seasoned minced meat, traditionally lamb or beef, shaped into long kebabs, grilled until juicy and smoky, then wrapped in thin flatbread and sliced into bite-sized pieces. The final touch of warm tomato sauce and creamy yogurt creates a perfect harmony of textures and flavors in every bite.
What makes Beyti Kebab stand out is its balanced combination of grilled, sauced, and baked elements. The meat is seasoned with garlic, spices, and herbs, giving it a deep savory flavor, while the flatbread absorbs the juices and sauce without losing its softness. Often served on a platter with additional yogurt, grilled vegetables, and sometimes rice, Beyti Kebab is both visually impressive and incredibly satisfying. It represents the richness of Turkish culinary tradition and is commonly enjoyed at restaurants as a special and hearty main course.
