- ⅓ cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 ounce Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon good quality balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
How to Make Balsamic Bruschetta
Gather all the ingredients needed for the bruschetta.
Arrange the bruschetta ingredients in various bowls and containers.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Lightly brush both sides of the bread slices with 1 tablespoon of oil and place them on a large baking sheet. Toast the bread until golden brown, about 5 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, grated Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic.
Add the balsamic vinegar, 2 teaspoons of olive oil, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper to the tomato mixture. Toss everything together well.
